Musical Analysis of Location by Khalid
The song I picked this week is "Location" by Khalid. I picked this song because I have loved it since I was a kid. I listened to it every day and I still due to this day. It's a song I will listen to when I'm doing homework and relax. He states in an interview that the lyrics are about ""young love"- the kind that would make a person "travel all over the country" in order to find."

Rhythm: The rhythm of Location is what sounds like a piano in the background. It doesn't appear the entire time but when it does show up it starts loud and kind of like a beep and will die down to very soft beep, but you can still hear it over everything else.
Melody: The melody of the song was smooth with mostly low notes. It seems to be a simple melody.
Timbre: When talking about him singing its very soft just like the some of the background music. There are certain interments that are louder than the rest, but it never overtakes the song.
Dynamics: The piano in the background is loudest volume in the song. His voice is quiet/soft the entire song.
Texture: The texture of this song is chilling and smooth.
A lot of Khalids songs get STUCK in my head and now Location is stuck in my head probably for the next few hours THANK you very much XD
